Remote diagnostics and ECU calibration for the Cummins L9 on the CM2450 module, ECM ID BKK (Cummins designation L9 CM2450 L126B/L127B). The work is carried out over TeamViewer on your own laptop while you watch, with the engine in the truck or the ECM on the bench.
What this service includes
- Full ECU diagnostic scan of the Cummins L9 CM2450 BKK
- Reading and clearing of stored fault codes (DTCs)
- Work on persistent faults that pull the engine into derate, limp mode or repeated regeneration cycles — including temporary DTC blocking to keep the truck moving until the hardware repair is done, derate and road-speed-limit calibration, and regen behaviour thresholds
- ECU recalibration for smoother running, sharper throttle response and improved fuel economy
- A file written for your exact ECM — never a generic file
Temporary DTC blocking is exactly that: it keeps the truck earning while parts are in transit, it does not replace the repair, and the underlying fault is still present.
This is a software service carried out on the engine control module. No parts are shipped.
What you need for online programming
- A laptop running Cummins INSITE or Calterm (contact us if you do not have the software)
- A diagnostic interface such as a Nexiq USB-Link
- A connection to the truck, or to the ECM on the bench
- TeamViewer installed
How it works
- Order and pay for the service.
- Send your engine model and ESN or VIN — a photo of the engine dataplate works.
- We check the calibration and software level on that exact unit and only book the session once the job is possible on it.
- Session time is agreed by email to suit your time zone.
- At the agreed time you send your TeamViewer ID and password, stay at the laptop and watch the work.
- Fault codes are read back together at the end of the session.
Results depend on the condition of the engine, so no result is guaranteed on a unit with an unresolved mechanical or sensor fault.
