How this service is delivered: after checkout, send us the file you edited. Use the contact form (up to 25 MB per file) or just reply to your receipt — and send the original read too, if you still have it. Nothing connects to your truck: the file comes back ready to use, usually within one business day, with everything you edited left exactly as you edited it.

Delphi PACCAR MX-13 checksum correction

The Delphi ECU on a PACCAR MX-13 — the engine under Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF hoods — verifies its own blocks before a write is accepted. The check lives in a handful of bytes at the end of a block: small enough to miss by eye, large enough to end a flash badly. Edit the file, and those bytes have to be recalculated before it goes anywhere.

Order this when

  • An edited MX-13 calibration is rejected, or the write stops part-way through.
  • You changed torque, fuel or limiter tables and the file no longer validates.
  • A file was assembled from more than one source, or trimmed to fit.
  • Somebody “corrected” it already and the tool still complains.

Covered

Delphi ECU files from MX-13 engines — the platform WinOLS users know as OLS810. If you have an MX-11 or another Delphi controller and are not sure, ask first: we will tell you whether it is inside what we do before you spend anything.

Send us

  • The edited file.
  • The original read, if you still have it — not required, but it removes the guesswork.
  • The ECU or software number, and how the file was read.

The order, step by step

  1. Pay for this line — one order, one file.
  2. Send the file: contact form or a reply to your receipt.
  3. We correct the block checks and send the file back, usually within one business day.

Asked often

Does the tune survive? Yes, untouched. Only the verification bytes change.

Do you need the truck, the VIN or a session? No. This is file work; nothing is connected to the vehicle.

Several MX-13 files at once? One order each, or ask for a batch arrangement first.

Also on this desk: Bosch EDC17 · every checksum and decryption service. We work on tuning, calibration and file repair only — we do not remove or disable emissions equipment.

Four steps, start to finish

01

Order the right line

Pick the family that matches your file and pay. One order per file — batches are welcome, one line each.

02

Send the file

Reply to the receipt or use the contact form. Send the original read too if you still have it: it is not required, but it halves the guesswork.

03

We do the work

A technician confirms which family and map area the file belongs to, then corrects the checksums — or decrypts the file, if that is what you ordered.

04

You get it back

Back to the same email address, usually within one business day, done and ready to use.

  • One file, one price — no subscription, no hourly billing.
  • Nothing is connected to your truck: this is file work from start to finish.
  • Only what has to change changes — your edits come back exactly as you made them.
